Oxycompact total oxidation compact sewage treatment plant
Description
The Oxycompact system for aerobic biological sewage treatment, made of carbon steel sheet, is ideal to treat wastewater from urban communities, camping sites, restaurants, hotels, residences, sport facilities, etc. and provides excellent quality, performance and durability results. In ideal conditions, treated waters comply with the current European regulations. Council Directive 91/271/CEE concerning urban wastewater treatment.
Operation
Oxidation
The automatic oxygen supply in the biological reactor causes the biological breakdown of organic matter and the presence of aerobic microorganisms.
Settling
The sludge arising from the organic matter breakdown flows by gravity to the settling tank where, after the appropriate retention time, active sludge separate and settle.
Sludge Recirculation
Active sludge is recirculated to the oxidation area where the process takes place again.
